Jennifer Pike
Jennifer Pike (born 9 November 1989) is a British violinist.〔(Concert Review: Jennifer Pike at the Purcell Room )〕 In 2002, she became well known for winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, and for six years she held the record of being the youngest winner, at twelve years of age.〔(BBC - Parent's Music Room )〕

Pike began playing the violin at the age of five, and after auditioning at the age of eight she gained a place at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester.〔(BBC - Radio 4 - Woman's Hour -Jennifer Pike )〕 At the age of ten she was chosen to play at a concert attended by the Prince of Wales at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
